Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Drywall Taper to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying joint compound, taping, and finishing drywall surfaces to ensure a smooth, skilled appearance. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment. Prior experience in construction painting, carpentry, or handyman work is highly valued. The Drywall Taper plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality interior finishes for residential and commercial projects.

Duties

- Apply joint compound and tape to drywall seams and corners with precision and consistency
- Sand and finish drywall surfaces to achieve a seamless look suitable for painting or other finish
- Use hand tools such as taping knives, sanders, and mud mixers effectively




- Perform caulking around drywall joints and other areas as needed for a clean finish
- Maintain a clean work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

- Prior experience in drywall taping, finishing, or related construction work preferred
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow safety guidelines and work independently or as part of a team
- Must be dependable, punctual, and committed to producing high-quality results

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
