Job Title: Experienced After Hours Dispatcher – Trucking (Evening/Night Shift)

Fleetex Transport is a well-established transportation company based in Bolton, Ontario. We are currently seeking an experienced After Hours Dispatcher with cross-border lane experience. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently during evening and night shifts.

Schedule: Evening and weekend shifts (After Hours coverage)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 (negotiable for the right candidate)

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight while maintaining awareness of daily priorities and transportation targets
- Book trucks independently and plan routes efficiently
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and procedures
- Analyze lane data, on-time performance, and costs to negotiate competitive rates with customers and brokers
- Communicate with brokers, carriers, and customers to resolve discrepancies
- Manage logistics activities including shipment rates, negotiating with service providers, selecting 3PL partners, tracking and expediting shipments
- Handle discrepancies in quality, quantity, and schedule




- Maintain communication with drivers during shifts and update customers on delivery status
- Monitor road conditions and adjust routes as necessary
- Maintain driver records and ensure accurate timesheets and payroll summaries
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the trucking or transportation industry (cross-border experience required)
- Proven ability to handle FTL and LTL shipments
- Strong knowledge of North American geography
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; able to learn recent software quickly
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with automotive freight is preferred
- English required; Punjabi or Hindi is an asset
- Must be available for evening and weekend (after-hours) shifts
