The successful candidate will be a friendly, well-rounded individual who will work in a fast-paced medical clinic setting. Duties will consist of, but not be limited to, manufacturing of custom orthotics and other lower limb custom medical devices, interaction with clients for the measurement and fitting of non-custom compression stockings and footwear, among other things.
Responsibilities
- Learning/executing a variety of fabrication techniques for custom orthotics using CAD/CAM software/mill and by hand.
- Understanding the use of specific materials used for specific pathologies during the fabrication process.
- Learning/executing shoe fittings using thorough fitting techniques and selecting proper footwear for a variety of foot-types and client needs.
- Learning/executing how to measure for, fit,
and don/doff various types of compression therapy devices
- Learning/executing product procurement, order processing and inventory entries
- Support patients by answering questions, providing comfort, and guiding them through check-in processes
- Record patient information accurately in medical records and update charts as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of clinical areas in compliance with health regulations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Experience in a clinical setting is an asset but not required
- Able to effectively communicate in English
- Valid Driver’s License and able to work in both locations (Peterborough and Lindsay)
Compensation:
$40,000 - $45,000 per year with advantages available
Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
