Responsibilities

- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and cranes with precision and safety awareness.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with loading and unloading freight using forklifts and other specialized equipment.
- Transport materials, freight, and equipment across job sites or storage areas following safety protocols.
- Support automotive repair tasks related to heavy machinery to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a secure work environment.
- Detail-oriented, safety-conscious,



and capable of working independently in diverse conditions.
- Maintain a strong sense of urgency regarding the farm’s essential needs to sustain production.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks effectively, ensuring project deadlines are met without compromising safety.

Experience

- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators, or loaders in a construction or industrial setting is an asset.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and logistics operations.
- Familiarity with automotive repair basics related to heavy machinery is a plus.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot mechanical issues confidently.
- Prior experience with safety protocols specific to heavy equipment operation is preferred.
