We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and results-driven Subprime Finance Manager – POD Leader to lead our Special Finance department. This leadership position is ideal for someone with a strong background in automotive sales and finance who is passionate about helping customers secure vehicle financing while leading a high-performing team.

As the POD Leader, you will oversee the complete subprime financing process, mentor and coach your team, build robust lender relationships, and drive sales performance. If you're a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced dealership environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Subprime Finance POD to achieve monthly sales and finance objectives.
- Structure, submit, and negotiate finance applications with prime and subprime lenders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, and finance companies.
- Work closely with the sales team to maximize approvals and vehicle deliveries.
- Coach, train, and mentor sales consultants and finance team members.
- Review customer credit profiles and develop financing strategies to maximize approvals.
- Ensure all finance paperwork is completed accurately and complies with VSA, lender, and dealership policies.
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience from initial inquiry through vehicle delivery.
- Monitor team performance, set goals, and drive continuous improvement.




- Stay current with lender programs, compliance requirements, and automotive finance trends.

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of automotive finance experience is required.
- Valid VSA Licence is mandatory.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record is required.
- Strong knowledge of prime and subprime lending programs.
- Proven ability to close finance deals and consistently achieve performance targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and goal-oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
