We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The successful candidate will lead the front-of-house team, ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain high service standards, and support management in achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations.
- Lead, motivate, and support front-of-house staff during each shift.
- Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
- Train, coach, and onboard new employees.
- Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Assist with scheduling and floor planning.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and workplace safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the restaurant.
- Support inventory management and report supply shortages.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily reports.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Help achieve sales goals while maintaining quality and service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- ProServe certification (or willingness to obtain one).
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with POS systems.
- Experience training and developing team members.
- Knowledge of food safety and restaurant operations.
