Position Summary
As a member of T&T; Supermarket's Senior Leadership Team, the Supply Chain Lead shapes and delivers the company's end-to-end supply chain strategy. Reporting to the Chief Production Officer, this role brings together planning, inventory, replenishment, distribution, transportation, logistics, and supplier performance to ensure customers and stores have the right products, in the right place, at the right time.
The Supply Chain
Lead balances service, cost, working capital, food freshness, and operational resilience while building the capabilities, systems, and partnerships required to support T&T;'s continued growth .
Position Mandate
: Create a clear, enterprise-wide supply chain vision and translate it into practical operating plans, investments, and measurable result s.Improve product availability and freshness while optimizing inventory, logistics costs, working capital, productivity, and wast e.Build a connected planning and execution model that enables effective decisions across Merchandising, Procurement, Store Operations, Finance, Information Technology, and external partner s.Lead a high-performing organization that is accountable, collaborative, data-driven, safety-focused, and equipped for future growt h.
Key Accountabilitie s: Set and execute T&T;'s end-to-end supply chain strategy in support of the company's customer promise, growth plans, and financial objectiv es.Translate strategy into clear operating plans, performance commitments, investment priorities, capacity requirements, and measurable business outcom es.Lead demand, supply, inventory, and replenishment planning, establishing effective planning disciplines, inventory policies, service targets, and cross-functional decision foru ms.Optimize product availability, freshness, inventory investment, working capital, shrink, and waste while responding effectively to seasonal,
promotional, and changing business deman ds.Provide leadership and oversight for distribution centre operations, transportation, inbound and outbound logistics, and store delivery, ensuring secure, accurate, reliable, and cost-effective executi on.Continuously improve network capacity, productivity, service, operational controls, and logistics costs to support current requirements and future grow th.Establish clear performance expectations with suppliers, vendors, carriers, and logistics service providers, and address service, quality, lead-time, or supply disruptions proactiv elyPartner closely with Merchandising, Procurement, Store Operations, Finance, Information Technology, and other functions to align priorities and make effective enterprise decisio ns.Use data, analytics, and meaningful performance measures to improve visibility, strengthen accountability, identify opportunities, and support timely decision-maki ng.Sponsor and lead process redesign, automation, system implementation, and supply chain transformation initiatives that simplify work and deliver measurable val ue.Maintain effective governance, business continuity, contingency planning, and risk management across the supply cha in.Ensure compliance with applicable food safety, workplace health and safety, environmental, social responsibility, regulatory, and corporate requiremen ts.Serve as an active member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to enterprise strategy, priorities,
culture, and overall business performan ce.Lead, coach, and develop a diverse, multi-level supply chain organization, strengthening accountability, engagement, succession, inclusion, safety, and continuous improveme nt.
Qualifications and Experi enceBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. A relevant designation or certification, such as APICS CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, or Lean Six Sigma, is an as set.At least 10 years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, ideally within grocery, retail, food distribution, fast-moving consumer goods, or another complex, high-volume environm ent.Demonstrated success leading broad, end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple sites and functions, with accountability for service, cost, inventory, productivity, and working capital outco mes.Experience leading large, diverse, multi-level teams and building strong leadership capability, accountability, engagement, and success ion.Proven ability to lead cross-functional change, business transformation, process improvement, automation, or major system implementati ons.Strong commercial and financial acumen, analytical judgment, and the ability to translate complex operational information into clear decisions and acti ons.Working knowledge of enterprise resource planning, warehouse management, transportation management, supply chain planning, and report ing.Exceptional communication, influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels and with external partn ers.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is an as set.
