Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sushi Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. As a Sushi Mura Oak Hiring Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing authentic sushi dishes with precision and creativity, ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation. Duties

- Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with attention to detail and presentation standards
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on sushi preparation techniques, food handling, and safety protocols
- Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations
- Oversee food quality control, ensuring consistency in taste, appearance, and freshness
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and storage areas
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan menus, monitor inventory levels,



and order supplies
- Lead by example in practicing proper food handling, sanitation, and hospitality standards during serving hours

Skills

- Proven experience in sushi preparation and Japanese cuisine cooking techniques
- Supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent team management and leadership skills to motivate staff effectively
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations and food industry best practices
- Exceptional communication skills to coordinate with team members and management
