Overview

Castle Mountain Resort is currently seeking a self-motivated individual who is able to take an organizational and customer service role within the Snow School. Reporting to the Assistant Snow School Director and Program Supervisor, this position is responsible for organizing and assisting with day-to-day operations, booking lessons and assisting with the coordination of on snow instruction.

Responsibilities

- Ability to work independently. Manage idle time with initiative to improve role and streamline processes
- Daily start up procedures and set up
- Selling and booking lessons and activities in person, on the phone and via email using Paradox
- Strong knowledge of products and packages – memorization an asset
- Be capable of multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment
- Solid computer skills are required, must be familiar with MS office
- Cash handling and daily cashouts
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Be polite, patient, understanding, empathetic and have a positive attitude
- Professionalism when answering and making phone calls

Qualifications

- High School Education (post-secondary preferred)
- Knowledge of skiing and snowboarding abilities

Work Experience:

- Experience with MS Excel and Point of Sale Software




- CASI/CSIA/PSIC Certification (or international equivalent) considered an asset
- Have previous Guest Service/Reservation experience (snow school considered an asset)

Where We Are:

Castle Mountain Resort is located at the end of Highway 774, near Pincher Creek, AB. This is a remote work location. There is a communal living Staff Accommodation building on-site for new and returning non-supervisory, seasonal employees.
