Core Responsibilities

- Prepare, verify, and dispense prescriptions accurately, following provincial and federal regulations
- Offer comprehensive patient counseling on specialty medications, including usage, possible side effects, and adherence methods
- Work alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes




- Keep detailed and accurate patient records and related paperwork
- Support inventory control, medication ordering, and day-to-day pharmacy operations
- Provide excellent customer service with a patient-centered approach
- Follow all pharmacy laws, policies, and procedures to maintain compliance

Qualifications

- Current registration (or eligibility) as a Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Prior experience in specialty pharmacy or with specialty drug therapies is strongly desired
- Strong clinical knowledge and meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Injection certification is a plus
