Daily Inventory control, storage & shipping of Maintenance Materials in YHM.
Essential Position Functions:
- Respond quickly & efficiently to requests from Maintenance for parts & materials.
- Issue parts and tooling from maintenance database and reconcile stock as necessary.
- Shipping & Receiving of Maintenance Comat to and from Cargojet bases.
- Shipping or Delivery of Parts / Tooling to Repair shops.
- Monitor parts / tools for inventory control and shelf life.
- Deliver parts/ tooling to aircraft at various locations around the airport to support Aircraft Maintenance.
- Various other duties incidental to the work described herein.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Work experience related to parts, warehouse, or material handling.
- Must be very well organized, scheduled and have experience working with minimal supervision.
- Work requires a mathematical aptitude.
- Work involves data entry to Inventory database and intermediate proficiency with MS Outlook, and basic proficiency with MS Word and MS Excel.
- Detail oriented, excellent communication skills.
- Work experience with SAP is an asset
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize workloads in a high-pressure environment.
- Able to safely lift 60 lbs. and be able to maneuver/ balance a 350 lb. Main wheel.
- Must have a valid Drivers License; must possess or qualify for valid Drivers Airside Pass.
- Good Housekeeping / Organizing skills.
- Aviation Parts experience would be a definite asset.
