Duties

- Safely operate AZ-class trucks for local or long-haul deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues; perform basic automotive repairs when necessary
- Manage freight documentation accurately, including delivery logs, manifests, and shipment records
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate pick-ups and deliveries
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the truck and work area, following company policies and safety protocols




- Assist with forklift operation for loading/unloading freight in warehouse or yard environments

Qualifications

- Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean driving record and proven commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations related to transportation
- Basic automotive repair skills for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues on the road or at the yard
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and load management
- Ability to work independently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Physical capability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as required
