A family-owned fleet maintenance operation is hiring a Heavy-Duty Truck & Trailer Mechanic 310T or 310J in Bolton, ON to diagnose, service, and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair heavy-duty trucks and multi-axle trailers, including flatbeds, step decks, and floats.
- Complete commercial vehicle safeties on trucks and trailers in compliance with MTO standards.
- Inspect and repair braking, suspension, and air systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Perform general maintenance and fabrication work, including welding and torch work as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and uphold high standards of workmanship, safety, and equipment turnaround.
Requirements
- Required:
- Valid 310T or 310J mechanic license.
- Experience completing MTO-compliant safeties on commercial trucks and trailers.
- Strong diagnostic and repair experience with heavy-duty truck and trailer systems.
- Ability to perform welding and torch work.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and safe shop practices.
- Preferred:
- Experience working in a fleet maintenance setting supporting transport operations.
- Familiarity with flatbeds, floats, step decks, and similar heavy-duty trailer configurations.
#FJ1 Compensation:
- $40.00 – $50.00 per hour starting pay, based on experience, training, and licensing.

Shifts:
- Day shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Overtime available and paid after 44 hours per week.
