We are seeking a motivated and experienced Team Lead Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced distribution team. In this role, you will take a hands-on leadership position overseeing the full scope of warehouse floor operations — including container unloading and loading, lumping, product scanning, sortation, pallet wrapping, and outbound loading. You will work directly alongside warehouse staff to drive efficiency, accuracy, and safety while setting the standard for performance on the floor.

- Supervise and assist in the physical unloading and loading of freight containers, ensuring accurate product counts and proper handling at all times.
- Perform and oversee lumping duties including hand-bombing, stacking, and organizing merchandise on pallets.
- Scan all inbound and outbound products using RF scanners or handheld devices to ensure accurate inventory tracking and order fulfillment.
- Oversee and participate in product sortation — accurately sorting items by SKU, destination, category, or route per standard operating procedures.
- Wrap completed pallets using stretch wrap equipment, ensuring loads are stable, secure, and meet weight and height standards before transport or storage.

- Supervise and assist with the proper loading of outbound trailers and containers, verifying load accuracy, sequencing, and load integrity.
- Monitor team workflow and reallocate labor as needed to maintain efficient operations and meet inbound/outbound deadlines.
- Enforce all safety policies and OSHA regulations; immediately report and address any unsafe conditions or incidents.
- Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment, including double walkies, RF scanners, and loading dock areas.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and management regarding workload status, staffing needs, and operational concerns.
- Train new associates on proper scanning, sortation, pallet wrapping, loading, and lumping procedures, as well as safe equipment operation.
- Maintain accurate records of loads completed, scan activity, inventory movement, and team productivity metrics.
- Assist in inventory control by verifying counts, identifying discrepancies, and reporting damaged or missing goods.
- Ensure dock areas, staging zones, and warehouse aisles remain clean, organized, and free of hazards.
