Seeking a veterinary technician assistant to work in a fast-paced general practice and emergency veterinary clinic. This is a full time position requiring open availability.

Note: Training shifts mainly take place during the daytime with a wage of $19.17/hr

Responsibilities

- Assisting with handling/restraining of animals for exams & procedures.
- Work with the team to keep the clinic clean & organized.
- Walking dogs, cleaning litter boxes & feeding and watering animals.
- Properly positioning & handling animals for x-rays, ultrasounds, blood draws, IV catheter placement etc.
- Restocking supplies & putting supplies orders away.

Requirements:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written




- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards animals and their owners
- Ability to work in the evenings (3pm-1am, 4pm-2am & 9pm-7am).

Please note that this is not exhaustive, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
