Duties and Responsibility
- Install, modify, calibrate and adjust various types of equipment, instruments, systems or control and instrumentation equipment;
- Diagnose and repair single and three-phase 110/575 volt electrical circuits including motors, starters, wiring, transformers, lighting, heating, etc;
- Contribute to continuous improvement;
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical,
electronic and instrumentation systems.
Education, experience and competencies
- DEC or AEC in industrial electronics technology (or related field);
- Certificate of qualification in electricity (License C) OR 2,500 hours accumulated in the apprentice's logbook (asset);
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation;
- Ability to communicate clearly in French and functional English;
- Strong organizational skills and autonomy;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Willingness to actively contribute to process improvement;
- Team player and assertive;
- Knowledge of Honeywell Distributed Control System (DCS) (an asset);
- Certificate in gas appliance technology class 1 (an asset).
