Sanitation Worker

Freedom Cannabis Inc is looking for a full-time Sanitation Team Member in our Acheson, AB location. The Sanitation Team Member is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing a variety of areas in our production facility. You will maintain the inventory of supplies and ensure that all equipment is operating properly.

Responsibilities:

· Perform in the cleaning and sanitization of production areas by following established Standard Operating Procedures

· Handle the cleaning and sanitizing of required harvest equipment and facility according to Standard Operating Procedures

· Sanitation of harvest area floors with designated cleaning supplies and approved floor cleaners as per SOPs

· Cleaning and sanitizing all harvest area surfaces including but not limited to; walls, tables, fans, irrigation lines, doors, light switches, ceilings, tools, racks and equipment as scheduled or needed.

· Responsible for facility cleaning as per GPP requirements (Good Production Practices)

· Follow procedure for the use of chemical cleaners.

· Perform inventory checks on all cleaning supplies.

· Responsible for performing out area-specific washing tasks with high attention to detail.

· Ability to perform sanitation tasks such as handling chemicals, dry clean-up, rinsing, chemical spraying applications, manual scrubbing and self-inspection.





· Adequate understanding of health and safety related to chemical SDS’s, WHMIS

· Ensure the facility remains sanitized, safe and optimized for harvest according to Standard Operating Procedures and other guidelines.

· Perform regular inspections to ensure harvest equipment is clean prior to being used and report issues to QA as needed.

· Sanitize and scrub production rooms, pre- and post-harvest in accordance with SOPs;

· Providing feedback and/or suggestions for continuous improvement(s).

· Be proactive in detecting and correcting sanitations problems.

· Position details and activities may change from time to time to meet operational needs.

Participate in other tasks that may be assigned by your manager.

Experience:
· Sanitation experience

· Housekeeping experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour

Experience:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
