Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires a solid commitment to customer service and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
- Assist in basic automotive repair tasks as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
- Operate heavy equipment or forklifts as required for loading and unloading tasks.





Qualifications

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in commercial driving or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with automotive repair principles is a plus.
- Experience operating heavy equipment or forklifts is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
