Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated IPS nurse to join our mobile private hteam. This position offers flexibility to work part-time, on call, to perform teleconsultations remotely. The IPS will provide high-quality patient care, manage diagnostic testing, prescribe medications, and ensure timely follow-up of all results. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to improving patient outcomes. Experience with electronic health records is a plus. This position offers an chance to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a dynamic private healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations online (teleconsultations) or in-person at the clinic.
- Prescribe laboratory and diagnostic tests (blood tests, imaging, ECG, Doppler, etc.).
- Prescribe medications as indicated and manage patient treatment plans.
- Review and follow up on patient results in a timely manner.
- Provide referrals to specialists as required.
- Document patient visits, charting, and clinical notes in the electronic medical record.
- Contact patients for follow-up calls or result discussions.
- Potential clinical duties may include:
- Blood draws
- PAP tests
- ECGs and Doppler assessments
- Ear irrigations
- Wound care
- Other nursing care as needed
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medication regimens,
and post-discharge care instructions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Assist with medical office tasks related to patient intake, documentation, and follow-up appointments.
Requirements
- Valid licensure with OIIQ in good standing as an Infirmière Praticienne Spécialisée, OR, Infirmière clinicienne WITH PRESCRIBING AUTHORITY, with relevant certifications.
- Fluent in French and English
- Strong organizational, clinical, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a adaptable schedule
- Excellent case management skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations including children and elderly patients.
- Exceptional communication skills to educate patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams. This role is integral to delivering high-quality healthcare services tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient while fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Pay: $55.00-$70.00 per hour
