At the same time, we enable governments, accelerators, universities, investors, and economic development organizations to design, deliver, and evaluate capital and innovation programs through modern application management, reviewer workflows, AI-assisted decision support, and reporting.

The Opportunity
This is a fractional executive leadership role for an experienced technology leader who enjoys building companies at pivotal moments — someone who wants to join the leadership team rather than advise from the sidelines.
Working closely with our CEO, Product leadership, and engineering team, you’ll provide strategic technical leadership while staying involved in execution: establishing the technical foundations that will support InclusifAI for years, strengthening engineering practices, and preparing the platform for enterprise and institutional customers.
The role is designed as a pathway toward becoming InclusifAI’s full-time Chief Technology Officer as the company grows.
What You’ll Own
- Technical delivery accountability for agreed enterprise and institutional implementations — scope, timelines, quality, and successful delivery.
- Partnership with customers and strategic partners, translating business requirements into scalable, enterprise-ready technical solutions.
- Long-term technical strategy, architecture, and engineering standards.
- Technical strategy for AI capabilities that augment human decision-making while preserving transparency, governance, and trust.
- Mentorship and development of the engineering team, alongside improvements to delivery, quality, and operational excellence.
- The platform’s security, scalability, compliance, and enterprise readiness.
- The technology roadmap, ensuring our product, funding, and ecosystem data become durable strategic assets.
What We’re Looking For
We’re less interested in someone who checks every box than someone who shares our ambition to build technology with meaningful impact.
Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Experience as a CTO, VP Engineering, Technical Founder, or senior engineering leader in a growing B2B SaaS company.
- A proven track record of scaling products, engineering teams, and technical operations.
- Experience building software for enterprise, government, healthcare, financial services, higher education, or other regulated industries.
- Strong expertise in cloud architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and secure software development.
- Experience implementing AI capabilities responsibly within production environments.
- The ability to mentor engineers while contributing directly to technical discussions and key architectural decisions.
- Robust communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to executives, customers, investors, and non-technical stakeholders.
- Curiosity, humility, sound judgment, and a bias toward execution.
