Duties

- Operate tow trucks efficiently to recover and transport vehicles from accident scenes, breakdowns, or parking violations
- Assess vehicle conditions and determine the best towing method to prevent further damage
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor mechanical issues on tow trucks or customer vehicles when necessary
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally with clients during stressful situations
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including vehicle details, locations, and times




- Conduct routine inspections of tow truck equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Assist with basic automotive repairs or adjustments when required to facilitate vehicle recovery or transport

Experience

- Prior experience operating commercial vehicles, especially tow trucks or similar heavy-duty equipment, is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance is essential for troubleshooting issues quickly
- Customer service experience that demonstrates professionalism and empathy in high-pressure situations
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record is required
- Forklift certification or experience operating other industrial machinery is a plus but not mandatory
- Knowledge of local traffic laws, safety regulations, and industry best practices for vehicle recovery
