Job Overview

We are seeking reliable and attentive Flag Persons / Flaggers / Ticketed positions to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow at construction sites and paving projects. This role is essential for maintaining safety protocols, directing vehicle and pedestrian movement, and supporting construction operations. Candidates should be committed to safety, able to work in outdoor environments, and possess a strong sense of responsibility. Prior construction experience or heavy equipment operation skills are a plus but not required.

Duties

- Direct traffic around construction zones using standardized hand signals or flagging devices
- Ensure the safety of workers, pedestrians, and drivers by effectively managing traffic flow
- Set up signage, cones, and barriers to delineate work areas and control access
- Communicate clearly with construction crews and drivers to coordinate movements
- Monitor the site for potential hazards and report unsafe conditions immediately
- Assist with general site safety procedures as needed during operations




- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents or injuries

Requirements

- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Solid attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as signaling or setting up barriers
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid certification for flagging (if applicable)
- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation, paving, or construction is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of traffic control standards and safety regulations is a plus
- Must be able to pass any required training or certification courses related to flagging or traffic control

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
