In-Person French Tutor

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate French Tutor to provide personalized, in-person instruction to students in Grades 1–12. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, patient, and able to deliver engaging lessons that help students build their French skills and confidence.

Responsibilities

● Provide one-on-one and small-group French lessons (onsite), tailored to students' needs.

● Develop clear, engaging lesson plans suitable for various ages and proficiency levels.

● Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and class reports.

● Adjust teaching methods based on student performance and learning styles to maintain engagement.

● Communicate with students and parents about progress and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

● Proficiency in French is required.

● Strong command of English and the ability to teach students effectively.

● Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.





● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

● A passion for teaching and helping students succeed; previous tutoring experience is a plus.

● Comfortable teaching in person at our Unionville location.

● Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Cantonese is an asset.

● Location: 4418 Highway 7, Unionville, ON

● Grade levels: Grade 1 to Grade 12

● Session type: One-on-one or small group

● Schedule: Evening shifts and weekend availability; minimum one shift per week

● Pay: $20–30 per hour

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
