Aircraft Maintenance Inspector (Mechanical, Structural, and Avionics)
Job description
• Identify problems with aircraft structural, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical
systems;
- Adjust and repair these systems in accordance with applicable specifications,
technical drawings, manuals and procedures;
- Repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems;
- Install or modify aircraft engines or other aircraft systems, such as mechanical and
hydraulic systems, flight control systems, fuel systems and pneumatic systems;
- Disassemble airframes, engines or other aircraft systems for repair, refurbishment,
cleaning and reassembly;
- Perform routine maintenance and report on it;
- Identify and place material orders in accordance with company policies;
- Order parts and supplies and maintain an inventory;
- Inform the Quality Assurance Supervisor of irregularities on maintenance work tasks;
- Ensure that the work is performed according to quality standards, AAR policies
and procedures and applicable regulations;
- Work closely with the aircraft team leader to ensure that work is completed on schedule;
- Ensure that the aircraft documentation is complete and in accordance with the
company's and operator's standards;
- Ensure that the workplace is clean and protected at all times;

- Ensure that the 5"S" program is respected at all times; Promote the quality
management system and make suggestions for improvement;
- Adhere to and enforce new security policies.
Skills and qualifications
• Hold technical or college training in aircraft maintenance in mechanical, structural or
avionics;
- Minimum of 2 to 7 years of experience in the maintenance of civil or military aeroplanes
and hold a Transport Canada approved licence (M2, S or E);
- Good adaptability, organizational skills, attention to detail;
- Hold, at a minimum, a type course on an aircraft model we are working on
