Job Title: Agricultural Mechanic – Snowblowing Fleet & Facilities

Position Summary:
Worry Free Snowblowing is seeking a skilled Agricultural Mechanic to join our team in Navan, Ontario. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of New Holland tractors (T5 & T6 models), Kubota L6060s, small push blowers, backpack blowers, lawn equipment, and small engines. This role also includes occasional facility maintenance and repair work.

The ideal candidate has solid mechanical expertise, thrives under pressure, and is ready to put in long hours—including evenings, weekends, and holidays—when the snow falls.

This is a full-time position year-round role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on New Holland tractors, Kubota tractors, and other fleet equipment.
- Service and repair small engines, lawn care equipment, backpack blowers, and push blowers.
- Inspect fleet vehicles and equipment, identify issues, and complete all required inspection documentation.
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Carry out facility repair and maintenance tasks (basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical) when required.
- Respond quickly to urgent repair needs during snow events to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.
- Support team members and assist with other projects as directed by management.





Qualifications:

- Licensed Agricultural Mechanic (or Heavy Equipment/Automotive Mechanic with relevant experience).
- Hands-on experience with New Holland and Kubota tractors is a strong asset.
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills with tractors, trucks, lawn equipment, and small engines.
- Ability to perform facility/building maintenance is an asset.
- Valid driver’s license (G) and reliable transportation required.
- Strong problem-solving ability with a commitment to safety.
- Flexibility to work long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays during snowfalls.

Assets:

- Welding and fabrication skills.
- Bilingual (English/French).
- Previous experience in snow removal or other seasonal industries.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Starting at $38/hour, based on certification and experience.
- Benefits package available after a 3-month probationary period.
