We are seeking a agile and dependable Truck Driver - Class 1 to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy-duty trucks to transport Fuel efficiently across various routes. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks to transport fuel over short and long distances
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and freight manifests throughout your shift
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts when required for loading or unloading cargo




- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting minor mechanical issues to keep the vehicle in optimal condition

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation
- Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts and other loading machinery
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to heavy vehicle operation and freight handling
- Strong mechanical aptitude with basic automotive repair skills
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as required
