Role Name: TypeScript and Node.js Tech lead

Location: Mississauga , ON (Onsite)

Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in TypeScript, Node.js for REST API development, and React for frontend development, Java Spring Boot experience is nice to have. This role involves designing and coding high-quality software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and resolving dependencies to ensure seamless project delivery.

Responsibilities:

- Lead Development Efforts: Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. Mentor and guide a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient applications using TypeScript, Node.js, Angular/React, and AWS serverless technologies. Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs to support frontend and backend integration. Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular or React.
- AWS Serverless Stack: Utilize AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other serverless services to build and deploy applications.
- Data: Lead design and optimization of scalable,



high-performance data solutions leveraging Amazon Aurora Postgres
- Code Quality: Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure high-quality code.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Identify and resolve technical dependencies and blockers to ensure smooth project progress.

Must Haves

- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js for REST API development.
- Experience with React for frontend development,
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with AWS cloud-native development, including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDb, Aurora Postgres
