Required Skills & Experience

- 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry with underwriting assistance experience
- Solid accounting knowledge, specifically with reconciliations
- Previous experience in P&C; (property and casualty)
- Previous reinsurance experience
- Experience handling the set up process for contracts
- Advanced MS Office skills (focus on MS Excel, Power Query)
- Power Bi, Tableau, skills beneficial

- CPA (pursuing)

The Contracts Specialist/Underwriting Assistant - Insurance P&C; oversees the administration of insurance and/or reinsurance accounts and contracts, from establishing and maintaining contractual data, processing the insurance and/or reinsurance account bookings, claims handling and manage the related cash flow. They will also support the underwriters in administrative activities related to the underwriting process. We may use artificial intelligence tools to assist with the screening, assessment, or selection of potential applicants for this position.
