We are building our network of utility interconnection and grid strategy leaders for data centre and large-load development across Canada.

As utilities and system operators introduce current study, allocation, and curtailment frameworks for large loads, interconnection and grid strategy have become central to digital infrastructure development. You will have advanced transmission or distribution service for large loads and know how to manage study milestones, upgrade scope, commercial terms, and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

- Direct experience securing interconnection for loads above 50MW

- Experience with the applicable large-load study process, including system-impact, facilities, transmission-service, distribution-service, or equivalent studies

- Command of large-load tariff design, demand charges, and curtailable rate structures

- Credible experience working with utilities, transmission providers, market operators,



regulators, and engineering consultants

- Experience in capacity-constrained, competitively allocated jurisdictions

Benefits

Typical market compensation

Canada: CAD 165,000 – 215,000 base, plus variable The applicable range and total-rewards structure will vary by employer, location, scope, employment structure, incentives, equity, travel, shift and project conditions.
