Guidewire Policy Center Integration Lead (Guidewire Cloud | GOSU | REST APIs)

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Policy Center Integration Developer to design, develop, and support Guidewire Policy Center solutions within Guidewire Cloud. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Guidewire Integration, GOSU, REST APIs, Integration Gateway, and Guidewire Cloud technologies, along with Property & Casualty Insurance domain experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Build architectural diagrams and technical design documents.
- Develop, configure, package, and deploy Guidewire applications.
- Perform peer code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design and implement integrations with external systems.
- Follow best practices for development, testing, and deployment.
- Provide technical guidance and mentor team members.
- Manage Guidewire upgrades and patches.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance functionality.

Mandatory Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of Guidewire Integration Development experience.
- 5+ years of Guidewire development experience.
- Expertise in GOSU language, Guidewire configuration, Guidewire Batch, predefined plugins, and Guidewire development tools.
- Experience reading and reverse engineering code written in other programming languages.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools including Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance domain.




- 5+ years of experience developing RESTful APIs.
- 5+ years of programming experience in Java, Python, C, or similar languages.
- Experience designing and developing business database applications.
- Experience building modern web applications and REST/JSON APIs.
- Robust understanding of design thinking and customer-centric development.

Guidewire Cloud Experience

- Guidewire Associate Certification.
- Hands‑on experience with Guidewire Policy Center and Guidewire Integration.
- Experience working with Guidewire Cloud (preferably Las Leñas).
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud APIs for extending and integrating Insurance Suite applications.
- Knowledge of synchronous and asynchronous APIs, OAuth 2.0 authentication, pagination, and error handling.
- Hands‑on experience with Guidewire Integration Gateway.
- Experience designing, developing, and managing secure, scalable, event‑driven integrations.
- Strong knowledge of Guidewire Cloud App Events and Event‑Driven Architecture.
- Experience with Pub/Sub models, event creation, event consumption, and downstream system integration.
- Familiarity with Guidewire Cloud tools including Team City, Bitbucket, Data Dog, and Guidewire Home.
- Understanding of Guidewire Messaging Engine, Message Queues, Message Transports, and Plugins.

Preferred Skills

- Guidewire ACE Certification (preferably Integration).
- Guidewire Billing Center configuration experience.
- Experience writing automated GUnit tests for integrations.
