We are seeking a Product Development Specialist to join a major player in the fashion industry in Montreal!

Responsibilities:

- Manage the end-to-end product development and production process- ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate closely with design, merchandising, and sourcing teams to bring products from concept to market.
- Support process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain consistent quality.
- Build and maintain solid relationships with suppliers and manufacturers, particularly within leather goods.
- Track production timelines, troubleshoot issues, and proactively address delays or quality concerns.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in product development and production,



ideally within handbags or related accessories.
- Strong technical knowledge of materials, leather, and handbag construction.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills with factories and cross-functional teams, including overseas partners.
- Experience with costing processes and working with offshore teams to meet targeted margins.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.
