At Nita Lake Lodge, we deliver elevated, personalized guest experiences—and our Banquets team plays a key role in bringing those moments to life. We are seeking a Banquet Captain who is a confident leader, highly organized, and passionate about delivering seamless, high-quality events.

About the Role

As a Banquet Captain, you will lead the execution of events from start to finish, ensuring service standards, team coordination, and guest experience are consistently delivered at a high level.

You will act as the on-floor leader during events, guiding the team, managing timing and flow, and responding to guest needs in real time.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

- Lead and supervise banquet service teams during events
- Coordinate event execution across front of house, kitchen, and bar teams
- Ensure all events are delivered to high service and presentation standards
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during events
- Proactively resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Support training and coaching of banquet staff
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling standards
- Complete administrative duties including billing, reporting, and event documentation

What You Bring

- 4+ years of banquet or event service experience
- Proven ability to lead and direct teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills




- Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Serving It Right certification (required)
- First Aid certification (asset)
- Strong understanding of food & beverage service standards

- Flexible schedule required, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
