Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 310T/310J Mechanic/Mechanic Apprentice to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mechanical systems, repair procedures, and maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintenance and repair of commercial, truck and trailer systems including hydraulics, PTO, electrical, body and engine etc.
- Detecting and diagnosing operating problems
- Perform proactive preventative services, annual truck/trailer inspections and routine checks
- Examine and adjust safety devices and protective guards
- Use of hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools
- Conduct all necessary repairs
- Investigation of malfunction to determine root cause of failure
- Thorough reports of diagnostic finding to identify warrantable repairs




- Always Complying with Health and Safety procedures as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements

- Fully licensed 310T/310J truck and coach technician/enrolled in apprentice program
- Electronic engine diagnostics
- Excellent organization skills with a strong attention to detail and time management are essential
- PTO and hydraulic installation and repair is considered an asset
- Familiar with laptop software diagnostics, Paccar MX engines and Peterbilt chassis are considered an asset
- Demonstrate protected, environmentally sound and healthy work habits always
