SUMMARY

Reporting into the Operations Director, the Site Supervisor is responsible for supporting and driving the successful, on-time, and within-budget execution of shoring projects from start to finish. This role plays a critical part in the operations team and works closely with on-site crews, engineering teams, subcontractors, and clients.

You will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, ensuring strict safety compliance, managing jobsite logistics, and serving as the primary on-site representative for GIP to deliver high-quality project outcomes.

PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE

- Project Execution & Planning

- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications.

- Plan and organize jobsite logistics and workflow.

- Order and manage materials and equipment.

- Develop and maintain project schedules.

- Team Leadership

- Supervise, motivate, and support on-site crews.

- Foster a positive and productive work environment.

- Ensure transparent communication of tasks and expectations.

- Safety & Compliance

- Promote a strong safety culture on site.

- Conduct hazard assessments and enforce proper PPE usage.

- Ensure adherence to safe work practices and procedures.

- Lead near-miss reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Client & Stakeholder Communication

- Serve as the primary on-site representative of GIP.

- Maintain professional and effective communication with clients and subcontractors.

- Address and resolve site issues promptly and diplomatically.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

- Proven experience in shoring or heavy civil construction supervision.

- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

- Excellent organizational and planning skills.





- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

- Commitment to safety and quality.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills.

- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required.

WHAT WE OFFER

- Expected Base Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 per year. The actual base salary will depend on several factors including experience, qualifications, internal equity, work location, and market expectations.
