As an FPGA Design Engineer, you will setup, troubleshoot, design and program FPGA digital systems. Candidates will be responsible for integrating new FPGA-based circuit boards, designing FPGA logic in VHDL and working with customers to customize SOC’s existing suite of IP.
Responsibilities:
- Create, troubleshoot, design, and program FPGA digital systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Integrate new FPGA-based circuit boards into existing systems, focusing on seamless functionality and compatibility.
- Develop and test FPGA designs using VHDL.
- Collaborate closely with hardware and software engineers to ensure overall system integration and functionality.
- Work with customers to customize SOC’s existing suite of IP solutions, tailoring them to meet specific project requirements and applications.
- Develop product specifications.
Skills
- Programming skills in VHDL and/or Verilog.
- Programming skills in C/C++
- Familiarity with PCB design and bring-up
- Experience with Microsemi(Microchip) FPGAs
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail..
- Strong initiative with a proactive and creative approach.
- Effective collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Post-Graduate Degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum of two years' experience in FPGA design(Xilinx or Intel).
