Bed Truck Driver is responsible for the secure and timely delivery, pickup, and transportation of oilfield rental equipment to and from customer locations. This role requires operating bed trucks in oilfield environments while maintaining safety, equipment integrity, and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate bed trucks to transport oilfield rental equipment (e.g., tanks, light plants, pumps, pipe, mats, or other rental items)
- Load, secure, transport, and unload equipment according to company and DOT safety standards
- Deliver and retrieve equipment at well sites, yards, and customer locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- Secure loads using chains, straps, binders, and other tie-down equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery and pickup documentation (tickets, logs, inspections)
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, supervisors, and customers
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and environmental regulations
- Assist in yard operations when needed, including staging and organizing equipment




- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle and work area

Qualifications

- Valid class one driver license
- Clean driving record
- Experience driving bed trucks or similar oilfield equipment preferred
- Knowledge of oilfield locations, lease roads, and safety requirements
- Ability to safely secure various types of loads
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections
- Ability to work long hours, weekends, and in varying weather conditions

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift and move equipment and secure loads
- Ability to climb on and off trucks and trailers
- Ability to work outdoors in harsh oilfield conditions

- Exposure to weather, dust, noise, and uneven terrain
- Compliance with strict safety standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
