Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framing Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, construction, and related skills, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on residential, commercial, or restoration projects, requiring proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. The Framing Carpenter will play a vital part in building durable structures by framing walls, floors, and roofs with precision and safety in mind. Candidates should be committed to quality craftsmanship and safety standards to ensure successful project completion.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing projects.
- Construct and install wall frames, floors, ceilings, and roof structures using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
- Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting and positioning large materials.
- Perform concrete forming and finishing as needed for foundation or structural support elements.
- Assist with siding installation, restoration work, and other carpentry-related tasks to meet project specifications.
- Use welding techniques when necessary for structural reinforcement or custom fabrication.




- Conduct heavy lifting of materials such as lumber, steel beams, or concrete forms to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in carpentry, framing, or general construction work.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, woodworking equipment, and heavy machinery operation.
- Knowledge of concrete forming and finishing techniques is a plus.
- Experience with welding or steel fabrication is desirable but not mandatory.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various outdoor conditions for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Valid certification or relevant licensing preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in restoration projects or siding installation is advantageous.

Pay: $21.43-$33.93 per hour
