Samosa House & Mother India is hiring an experienced, dependable and customer-focused Restaurant Supervisor to manage our front-of-house team and daily restaurant operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise servers and front-counter employees
- Organize daily tasks and ensure shifts run smoothly
- Train, guide and support new and existing employees
- Maintain fast, friendly and professional customer service
- Monitor dine-in, takeout and delivery orders
- Handle customer questions, concerns and complaints
- Ensure orders, bills and payments are processed accurately
- Monitor cleanliness of the dining room, front counter and customer areas
- Coordinate with kitchen staff during busy periods
- Help manage staff scheduling and shift coverage
- Monitor supplies and communicate restocking needs
- Ensure food-safety, cleanliness and workplace procedures are followed
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Report operational or staffing issues to management
- Assist wherever needed during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food-service experience
- Supervisory or team-lead experience is strongly preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Friendly, professional and confident with customers
- Reliable, organized and able to solve problems independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays when required
- Able to stand for extended periods
Position: Full-time or Part time
