Responsibilities:
Food preparation: Following recipe to make sure all sauces and proteins are ready for service.
Station Cooking: Responsible for frying and charbroiling. May rotate with other stations including working at the pass, participating at the chef's table, and catering.
Cleaning and sanitizing: Keeping the kitchen clean and organized by washing dishes, wiping down surfaces, and sanitizing equipment.
Following food safety guidelines: Following food safety guidelines and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Other duties as assigned: Assisting with any other tasks as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, but not always required.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Work permit with no restriction
- Food handling certificate
