Wildlife Exclusion Technician / Construction Labourer

Natural Pest Control Inc. – Thunder Bay, ON

Natural Pest Control Inc. is a growing wildlife removal and exterior repair company serving Thunder Bay and the surrounding area. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team on a part-time and/or contract basis, with the prospect for more hours as our company continues to grow.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in construction, roofing, carpentry, or general labour who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

Install wildlife-proofing systems to prevent raccoons, squirrels, birds, bats and other wildlife from entering homes.

Install roof vent covers, chimney caps, pipe collars, soffit protection and custom exclusion systems.

Repair and replace fascia, soffits, siding and exterior trim.

Perform basic carpentry, caulking, painting and exterior finishing.

Remove nesting material and complete attic clean-outs when required.

Safely use ladders, power tools and hand tools.

Maintain a clean and organized job site.

Follow all company safety procedures and work professionally around customers.





Take pride in completing high-quality work that looks great and lasts.

Qualifications

Construction, roofing, carpentry or exterior renovation experience is an asset.

Comfortable working safely at heights and on ladders.

Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.

Valid driver's licence is preferred but not necessarily

Positive attitude, dependable and willing to learn.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with wildlife exclusion is an asset, not necessary, willing to train

What We Offer

Starting wage from $21.00 per hour.
