Position: Parts Department Shipper/Receiver & Warehouse Coordinator

Location: Milton, ON (401 & James Snow Parkway)

Overview: Seeking an enthusiastic Shipper/Receiver & Warehouse Coordinator to join MTB’s team.

Duties: MTB is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Parts Department Shipper/Receiver & Warehouse Coordinator to join a well-established Canadian organization recognized for operational excellence and industry leadership.

This hands-on position is responsible for supporting daily parts department operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory coordination, warehouse organization, and parts distribution. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring parts are received accurately, stored efficiently, and distributed to support ongoing fleet maintenance and refurbishment operations.

This role supports a busy bus and heavy vehicle service environment where accuracy, efficiency, and strong organizational skills are essential to meeting operational timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving

- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments




- Verify incoming parts against packing slips and purchase orders
- Label, organize, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments and returns
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation
- Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or missing items

Inventory & Parts Coordination

- Allocate and distribute parts to technicians and active work orders
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment
- Maintain accurate inventory records within digital inventory systems
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory organization
- Process vendor returns and warranty items when required
- Track outstanding or delayed orders and communicate updates to the shop team

Warehouse Operations

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with warehouse layout improvements and inventory organization
- Ensure proper handling and storage of parts and materials
- Support daily operational requirements across the parts department

Administrative Support

- Enter and update purchase orders, inventory transactions, and receiving information
- Provide regular updates regarding parts availability and shipment status
- Work closely with shop supervisors, technicians, and suppliers to support operational needs
- Follow established procedures and company safety standards

Core Requirements

- Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
- Experience in a parts department, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory coordination role
- Experience within automotive, truck, bus, transit, or heavy equipment industries preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills




- Commitment to workplace safety and operational accuracy
- Eligibility to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of experience in a parts or warehouse environment
- Familiarity with OEM and aftermarket vehicle parts
- Experience using digital inventory and purchasing systems
- Forklift or material handling experience considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and perform physical warehouse duties including standing, bending, and lifting
- Flexibility to support operational requirements when needed

- Our facility is just off the Highway 401 in Milton – easy commuter access.
- Shifts are Monday to Friday from 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM - no nights or weekends!!!!
