Various positions will be available in Electronics courses offered in the Faculty of Engineering. Duties are assigned by the instructor of each course requiring a GTA/TA. The GTA/TA will be responsible for assisting instructor(s) to a combined maximum of 120 hours, assigned by the Engineering Faculty. Duties would normally consist of assisting with instructional program of undergraduate courses, and/or marking assignments or tests; invigilation of tests and exams; and/or leading lab sections with associated marking, preparation and assignments; and/or marking assignments or tests.
Position Requirements
Students must have completed the class requiring a Teaching Assistant, prior to being selected for
a position. Preference will be given to those students who have achieved a certain grade
previously in the class. A list if classes possibly requiring a GTA/TA are listed below. Preference of
classes can be indicated on the application form. Only those selected will be contacted.

Students must have completed the mandatory Graduate Teaching Enhancement Courses: Grad Thrive Plus 801 and GRST 800AB course. Grad Thrive Plus 801 (previously 800AA) must be completed by the end of the first semester in which a student begins their program, in order to be eligible.
