Job Summary

Location: 950 Seaborne Avenue, Port Coquitlam

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Caretaker/Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. The ideal candidate will perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This role is essential in supporting the overall upkeep and smooth operation of our premises, contributing to a professional and hygienic setting.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including kitchen, appliance, restrooms, and common areas
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance to address minor repairs and ensure equipment is in good working order
- Use cleaning supplies and equipment effectively to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Follow established safety protocols during cleaning and maintenance activities
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures
- Monitor supply levels and notify management when replenishments are needed




- Ensure all areas are sanitized regularly to promote health and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment to facilitate efficient operations

Requirements

- Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality work
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Good organizational skills and reliability in completing assigned duties on time
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a quick-paced environment
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is advantageous
- Must be punctual, responsible, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and upkeep

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
