Position

Part-Time Piano Instructor

Responsibilities

- Provide one-on-one private piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels
- Teach beginner to advanced repertoire, technique, sight-reading, and music theory
- Prepare students for RCM examinations, recitals, and performances when applicable
- Develop structured lesson plans using recognized academic teaching methods
- Create a positive, motivating, and professional learning environment for students





Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Music (or equivalent) is required
- RCM certification or experience preparing students for RCM exams is preferred
- Strong knowledge of academic piano pedagogy and well-established teaching methods
- Ability to teach children, teenagers, and adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and skilled
