General Manager - Restaurants

$60,000 - $70,000 / Annually (DOE) + Bonus

AMK Global is looking for an experienced Restaurant General Manager to take full ownership of one or more locations in Hamilton. This is a hands-on role for someone who can lead teams, manage operations and numbers, and work confidently without needing a rulebook for everything.

You will work closely with ownership to build strong teams, deliver a great guest experience, and improve performance where needed.

What You’ll Do

- Run the daily operations of a high-volume fine-dining restaurant
- Manage Front and Back of House teams during busy service
- Lead high guest cover counts and peak shifts, including late nights
- Hire, train, and lead managers and staff
- Plan schedules and control labour and food costs
- Oversee food quality, ordering, and inventory
- Manage P&L;, budgeting, and cost control
- Ensure service, food, safety, and cleanliness standards
- Handle guest feedback and support events
- Work closely with ownership to improve operations

What We’re Looking For





- 4+ years’ experience in a similar General Manager or senior role
- Background in high-volume fine-dining restaurants
- Experience managing $2–3M annual revenue locations
- Solid understanding of financials, P&L;, and cost control
- Experience leading both FOH and BOH teams
- Hands-on, calm leader comfortable with late nights and weekends
