The Front Desk Receptionist is a key role in establishing a relationship with our studio customers and visitors. We are looking for someone motivated, energetic, outgoing and friendly; someone who enjoys going above and beyond to enhance the customer experience and create a sense of community within the studio. This is a customer service oriented position.

You must be confident in explaining and selling memberships to new and returning customers. You will also be responsible for ensuring a clean and presentable studio at all times (cleaning duties are required).

This is a part-time role. We are primarily looking for Monday to Friday morning coverage. The shifts are 4 hours and start at 8:45am. Weekend availability or flexible availability is also an asset.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Represent our brand by providing excellent customer service to new and existing clients during sign in
- Assist students by guiding them through our programs and retail offerings and answering their questions
- Build strong relationships with team and customers to maintain consistently high levels of service
- Daily Calling/Texting/Emailing recent clients who have visited our studio and existing members follow up on their progress at our studio, helping them book into more classes and answer any questions
- Following up on leads as well as selling renewals/upgrades to current members
- Assist with social media engagement/marketing/content (Instagram) and newsletter generation (creating graphics/posts)
- Make sure all check-in procedures are followed and classes start on time
- Keep front desk area and studio clean and orderly
- Perform full cleaning duties; including hourly bathroom check-ups




- Answer calls and respond to emails
- Ensure all necessary forms are available, completed and processed properly
- Ensure open/close procedures are followed
- Process all monetary transactions, reconcile and report all incoming or outgoing
- Any other tasks required to help company meet its goals

What we are looking for:

- Have a passion for yoga, health, and/or fitness! You will have unlimited access to classes at this location :)
- Weekday morning availability Monday to Friday (8:45am - 12:45pm) is required
- Weekend morning availability is an asset
- Outgoing, friendly and personable
- Excellent communication skills (English, written, and verbal)
- Strong customer service and sales skills (sales experience a bonus)
- Experience with social media engagement and content creation a plus
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Dependable, accountable and responsible with excellent attendance and punctuality
- Strong problem solving abilities and decision making skills (understanding customer needs)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently

Work Environment

This job operates in a hot yoga studio.

*Training beginning in August is ideal
