Antipastos is seeking a mature and responsible individual to join our team. Experience in warehouse work and driving is preferred. Business hours are Monday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday and Sunday 9am-5pm.

Essential duties and responsibilities

- Receive inventory and verify accuracy of shipments
- Ensuring merchandise is correct and in good condition. Report to the Manager any damaged or missing items from incoming shipments.
- Sorting, distributing and stocking merchandise in designated departments and locations including walk in refrigerators and freezers.
- Gathering and packaging items for customer deliveries.
- Delivering orders to customers with the company vehicle.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Rotate, organize and stock products in designated areas (including refrigerators and freezers).
- Pick up merchandise from suppliers.
- Maintaining the warehouse clean and organized,



while ensuring a safe work environment, as per Health and Safety protocols.
- Performing general property maintenance as required.
- The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- The ability to lift up to 22 kg (50lbs)
- Use of a pump lift and other carrying devices.
- The ability to climb ladders, including rolling ladders

Qualification requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred
- Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical and basic computer skills
- Dependable and Reliable
- Canadian Drivers License required
- Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 22kg/50lbs regularly
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (coolers, warm prep areas, etc.)
- Comfortable with climbing ladders and undeterred by heights

Job Types: Full time, Part-time Pay: $17.85-$18.50 per hour
