Maple Ridge Lighting is a well-established lighting showroom offering a complete selection of lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, and lamps from many of the industry’s leading brands. We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver to join our team.

This is a hands-on position that combines warehouse operations, customer service, and local deliveries. The successful candidate will work closely with and directly under the Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for delivery or pickup
- Delivering orders to residential and commercial job sites
- Receiving incoming inventory and verifying shipments for accuracy
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
- Organizing and stocking warehouse inventory
- Processing returns, exchanges, and RMA items
- Tracing missing or delayed shipments with suppliers and carriers
- Assembling and performing basic wiring of lighting fixtures
- Processing online orders
- Answering incoming phone calls and assisting customers as needed
- Contacting customers regarding order arrivals and pickups
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and surrounding grounds

Requirements

- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence required
- Current clean Driver’s Abstract required




- Proof of licence and driver’s abstract must be provided prior to employment
- Comfortable driving company vehicles and making local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites
- Ability to safely lift up to 40 lbs overhead
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Basic computer skills including email, internet use, MS Excel, and POS/inventory systems
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience considered an asset
- Professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers

Additional Information This position includes regular operation of company vehicles. Maintaining a valid driver’s licence and safe driving record is a condition of ongoing employment.

This is a full-time 40 hour a week position. You will be paid hourly. You will be required to work Monday through Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM or 9:00AM - 5:30PM.
