We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, manage inventory processes, and ensure smooth coordination across various departments. Duties
- Supervise warehouse distribution activities, including order picking, packaging, and shipping processes
- Manage inventory accuracy, ordering materials
- Lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing environment
- Coordinate deliveries, verify delivery slips & ensure correct material is delivered
- Oversee forklift operations and heavy lifting tasks while maintaining strict safety standards
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize workflow efficiency and reduce waste or delays
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations,
warehouse management system protocols, and quality standards
Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory management; experience with warehouse management systems is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership with supervising experience in manufacturing or warehousing environments
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Skilled in data analysis and analysis skills to identify trends and opportunities for operational enhancements
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines consistently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- Experience in the interior door & trim industry would be preferred
- Basic carpentry skills including using woodworking tools
