We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Superintendent to lead multi-family and commercial construction projects based in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

This position is project-based in Grande Prairie; however, we welcome candidates who reside in Edmonton and surrounding area. Terrace provides a competitive Living Out Allowance (LOA) and travel support, making this an excellent prospect for experienced Superintendents who prefer to remain based in the Edmonton area while working on major projects in Northern Alberta.

What You'll Do

- Lead all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
- Manage project schedules, sequencing, and daily field operations.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and inspections.
- Maintain exceptional quality standards throughout construction.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and OH&S; legislation.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact schedule or budget.




- Manage site documentation, daily reports, inspections, deficiencies, and project turnover.
- Build positive working relationships with owners, consultants, municipalities, subcontractors, and the project team.
- Mentor field staff while fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.

Qualifications

We're looking for an experienced construction professional who has successfully delivered complex commercial or multi-family projects.

Preferred qualifications include:

- 10+ years of commercial or multi-family construction experience.
- 5+ years as a Site Superintendent on projects exceeding $10 million.
- Strong leadership, scheduling, and organizational abilities.
- Thorough understanding of Alberta Building Code, OH&S; requirements, and construction best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Procore and Microsoft Office.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.

Work Location

This position is based full-time in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Candidates may reside in Edmonton. Terrace supports Edmonton-based employees through a competitive Living Out Allowance (LOA) and travel arrangements. Work schedules and rotation will be discussed during the interview process based on project requirements.
